Nancy Roy, owner of Interactive School House in Three Rivers, offers artists a place to work, instruct, and sell their creations during gallery pop-up events. Her own artwork typically includes three elements: material transformation or fabrication, collaboration with other artists, and three dimensions. Nancy is most moved by art that is experiential and changes your breathing rate, and she strives to accomplish the same effect with her work. Old buildings and discarded objects beg her to transform them into something stunning, surprising or beautiful. She feels that bold colors, quirky materials, and group effort makes the process fun and produces work that exudes energy and movement.
